World’s Weirdest Restaurants

Are you bored in eating in the same old fast food chains you see around the corner? Have you ever considered being stunned when you enter a restaurant? Consider yourself informed in these weird restaurants around the world that you may want to visit in the near future.

Modern Toilet

Modern Toilet is a bathroom-themed restaurant chain that is based in Taiwan. Customers dine while sitting on toilets adorned with "roses, seashells or renaissance paintings." The tables that the meals are served on are bathroom sinks covered with glass tops. Meals are served in miniature toilet bowls and drinks are in miniature plastic urinals which the customers can take home with them as a souvenir. Dessert ice cream is served in a dish that resembles a squat toilet. Are you up to the visual look of the food?

Dinner in the Sky

Those who are brave enough to eat 150 feet from the ground, this would be the perfect restaurant for you!

Costumers and staff are hoisted through cranes. You will actually see the staff cook and serve for you while you enjoy the view of the sky and ground; if you are not afraid of heights.

Opaque

Heighten all your senses of except your sight in this restaurant because diners will eat in a pitch black room. The waiters are blind but trained to serve the costumers and move through the restaurant with ease.

 ‘s Baggers

NO waiters and waitresses, just tubes that slide down the food you ordered or ‘tapped’ on touch screen monitors on the table. This is the famous‘s Baggers based in Nuremberg, Germany. You will be amazed at the self service restaurant with spiral tubes scattered around. Which tube will your food go to?

Heart Attack Grill

Heart attack grill is a hospital-themed burger restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada. The establishment is a hospital theme restaurant: waitresses ("nurses") take orders ("prescriptions") from the customers ("patients"). A tag is wrapped on the patient's wrist showing which foods they order and a "doctor" examines the "patients" with a stethoscope. The menu includes "Single", "Double", "Triple", and "Quadruple Bypass" hamburgers you will surely love right from the very first bite.

Cannibalistic Sushi

Do you want to see real blood oozing from a sculpted human body made of edible sushi when you slice it? Can you stomach the realistic body served in front of you? The Cannibalistic Sushi restaurant is what I would recommend. Diners can slice the body anywhere they want and eat what’s inside it. Every part is actually edible.

The ever appetizing bathroom themed restaurant, The Modern toilet; the adrenaline induced restaurant, Dinner in the sky; the pitch black restaurant that will heighten your senses, Opaque; the dizzying swirls of tubes from s’ Baggers; the heart-stopping-but-oh-so-delicious burgers from Heart Attack Grill; and the Psychopath wonderland, Cannibalistic Sushi are on top of my list of restaurants I would want to visit when the chance is given. I just hope that when I am ready to go, they are still on business.
