        I’m sure that anyone of you experience to be a frosh in a university? How does it feel? Did you feel the jitters? Are you afraid? They say that Elementary is memorable, High school is Unforgettable and college stressful. This quote for me is very true. Because college is indeed stressful to student especially to frosh because they are the one who undergo adjustment to different cultures and someone may actually experience culture shock, indeed highschool environment is far different from college environment not only in academics but also in social , physical and emotional and it is quite a pressure. Let me share to you my experience being a frosh student.

         July 12, 2013 was the most shocking day of my life, wonder why? It is the first day in college, my first day as a Mapuan. A new life, environment, culture, people etc. it is hard to believe that I need to leave my life in highschool and get ready to face the next chapter of my life which is “College”. Majorities say that college is the most crucial stage to an individual in education, why? Because the challenges that you will be facing are harder than highschool not only in academics but also emotional and you will experience pressure. During my 4^th yr days, I had filed my application form to colleges early namely DLSU and UST but after a long run, here I am in Mapua. Im not asking myself why I’m in Mapua eventhough I received many discourages from my friends that Mapua according to them is hard, but for me I’m thankful that destiny puts me here, in a prestigious school. And im happy to study here in Mapua because I have met my friendly blockmates. May I share to you my first impression of my blockmates.

Jazriel Corcuera “Pretty but Small”

-My first impression about her is she is friendly,lovable and cheerful. She always wear smile. I notice her during our first day because she is late.

Mica Buan “Baby”

First time I saw her I taught she just went to summer because her skin tone is like she went to a beach but my first impression to her is she is happy person, caring and lovable.

Omar Amro “Justin Bieber”

First time I saw him I see Justin Bieber to his face and I also recognize that he is a Arab because of his physical feautures. He is friendly, sometimes frankly doing stuff

Emman del mundo “Smiling guy”

Emman, I didn’t recognize that he is one of my classmate because he looks mature and I didn’t notice him, but later on I started to notice him he always just smile so he is friendly, happy person.

Dianne Celis “Pretty and chuuby”

When I first saw Dianne I taught she is Unapproachable because he looks like a critic and a rich kid. And I like her skin tone. She always smile too and a she is a happy person indeed.

Zyrah Antiporta “The silent killer”

We first met at the AVR for the Orientation and first thing I notice to her that she looks like a nerd because she wears eyeglass and often quiet, but it’s the opposite of what I think about her.

Anne Corpuz “geekly and Kpop lover”

Anne, she is the first person i met through internet and at the AVR. First time I see her she looks like mature like a sister type and I know she got maternal instinct. She is friendly too but sometimes wants to be isolated to be peaceful.

Hannah Galeno “ Rich girl”

First time I saw Hannah I taught she is Radha, a singer that is quite chubby. She is lovable and friendly and of course rich.

Jaemie del pena “rockstar”

I really like the eyes of Ate jaemie because it looks like captivating a rockstar.

Jerome “ Diva”

First time I say Jerome, he is so man I mean his physical appearance was so manly. Jerome for me is lovable, caring and responsible person

Marcelo “Happy Go Lucky”

For me, Marcelo is lovable especially to his Girlfriend. I named her happy go lucky because he seldomly attended classes.

Erick “mysterious”

First time we met is at the AVR, he is on the corner sitting quietly that’s why I named him mysterious, but then again I think It is opposite.

Kristine Balidoy “ Shy girl”

We first met at the van going to RCBC for our CBC I think she is frienldly because she has many txtmate.

Jerry Castillo “swagger”

First time I saw him he looks like swagger because he dress hiphop. He is friendly too and also have a high self-esteem.

Im happy to be friends with them. They made my college life happier. Of course all of you have many friends in college; well you need them especially in college. You need some to talk to, to mingle and help you in every aspect. So number tip for my co-frosh earned friend and be a friend to everybody.
